Pangbourne Library

On the high street in Pangbourne is one of my favourite places to take the children, Pangbourne Library.  It is very well run and so neat.  The most simplest process to apply for library cards which gives you access to borrow 15 books at a time.

There is a range of books for children and even for some hobbies and cooking. Should you wish to search for a particular title, you can do it all online and even reserve the book.  Your cards also gives you access to all the other libraries in Berkshire.  You are also apply to access the internet with computers in the library and can also use the printer for a minimal fee for assistance with CVs, school projects or like me printing off an amazon bar code 😉

They also have local activities with arts and crafts with the elderly, story time for the toddlers, and reading competitions during the summer.  Inside are also loads notices and pamphlets for things available around the area that one can attend like shows, fetes, events etc.

Extremely polite, efficient and well looked after, definitely a place to visit.

You can visit their website for more information on whats on and their opening times.
