One of the most popular trails is a circular three mile walk around the village.
Start by taking the Thames path from to train station through Pangbourne Meadow. Take the path that runs next to the Sul Brook to Sulham Woods where you can spend a bit of time should you choose. There are a a number of way marked trails.
Otherwise this trail heads west towards the River Pang and you follow a path back on the banks of the river back to the village.
Another option is to follow the Thames to Mapledurham House. The estate is not open to the public on weekends but there are private guided tours of both the estate as well as the house during the week.
Alternatively if you head west along the path it will take you towards Basildon Park. Here you will find different way marked trails taking you through parkland and woodland.
